| Elementary School Memories

Shawndel & her daughter Myranda Jubinville had a great time back at her old stomping grounds during the rainy weather on April 30th, 2008. They performed for all the students and teachers at Newbrook Elementary and Thorhild Elementary Schools. Shawndel grew up only seven minutes from Newbrook and attended Thorhild Schools from kindergarten to grade 12, so she really enjoyed her walk on memory lane.

"Daddy's Little Girl" released to Canadian Radio on April 28th, 2008. Shawndel has released another song to radio off her debut album, Believe. Written by Shawndel, her husband Delton and Jamie MacDonald, "Daddy's Little Girl" is a very special song written for Shawndel's Dad, John. It is being played on many stations across Canada, so keep your ears open and send out those requests!

Shawndel would like to invite you to a special performance taking place on Sunday, November 13th, 2005 at Red's in West Edmonton Mall. Shawndel will be showcasing for Chevrolet because of her song "Brand New Chevrolet" and to jump start her next release to radio "Heaven Knows". Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Shawndel will be performing a 45 minute set starting at 6:30 p.m. She will be showcasing almost all of the original material off her album, plus a couple of her favourite classic covers. There will also be a special duet with Shawndel's daughter, Myranda Jubinville, who toured with her this summer. You don't want to miss it!

Shawndel is booked at the Cloverdale Rodeo in Vancouver, BC for May long weekend, May 19th to 23rd. This is the second largest rodeo across Canada and Shawndel is one of the two headlining acts for the whole weekend.

On Nov. 13 & 14 2004, at Cook County Saloon in Edmonton, AB, Shawndel competed against four to five hundred people from across Canada in the Nashville Star competition and ended up being one of the top 30. If chosen for the next level of competition, she will be going to Austin, Texas and Los Angeles, California to compete against America's best!
